Whether your center pieces are solely floral, candlelit or they incorporate unique trinkets- let your centerpieces take center stage! The personal touches of a centerpiece can take your tables from simple to SWOON! ✨ Saba Decor had the pleasure of celebrating Jesse and Aman at their beautiful wedding venue; Chaminade Resort and Spa in Santa Cruz. While the views of the Santa Cruz Redwoods were quite incredible against the morning fog, as the day progressed the sun peaked through and further made their Outdoor Mandap ceremony a sight to see. For that, we created an arch which included orange silk brocade draping, and strings of orange hued carnations. It perfectly complemented the other natural aspects of the venue, including the seascape view in the distance. As we made our way inside for the reception, the room was bursting with natural light, and quite special centerpieces. Each table had a soft pink and cream huedfloral halo to complement its center. Alternating, in the center of each floral halo we added a glass candle votive and tea-light. While the other tables were adorned with golden Manzanita trees. To add warm and whimsical lighting, each tree held suspended glass globes and were also adorned with a tea light candle. As the night progressed, the tables were shining and the branches of the manzanita trees casted little shadows against the glass wares and plum table linens. The best part about these centerpieces was the combination of each aspect of the piece. The incorporation of fresh florals, golden manzanita trees and unique hanging glass globes to show off the tea-lights. So, for your next event let those tables shine! Add your personal touches, and don't be afraid to switch it up by alternating your decor from one table to another. You'll love what you see! ✨

Our weekend was filled with gorgeous floral arrangements from The Floral Loft, which was incorporated into Ramya and Owen’s first ceremony. Talk about flower power! On a beautiful lush lawn overlooking the main fountain, our wooden Mandap set up was quite enchanting. Hanging lanterns lined the vibrant red carpet which led up to the stage, where strings of ombre pastel carnations hung from each post. The center of the Mandap was lined with traditional handcrafted chairs and accessories for the bride and groom. As Ramya and Owen completed their Hindu nuptials, our team for prepping for the grand finale, reception.
The whimsical feeling was going strong, with the soft pink uplighting and blush pink sequin covered head table, the room was bursting with beautiful pink hues. We added crystal chandeliers in between the gold sequin glamorous draping to tie the magical feel. Each table was covered with blush pink tablecloth and was complimented by rustic flower centerpieces, provided by The Floral Loft.
As the night went on the room was dazzling with sparkle and romance, while the guests laughed and danced the night away. It was the perfect scene as sweet stories of the bride and groom were shared with the room.
Congratulations to Ramya and Owen, and thank you for having us design and decorate a milestone in your life.

We love engagement parties, its the beginning of a wedding celebration. It set's the tone of how all your other celebrations are going to be, up to the wedding day. We were asked to decorate this event in Ceres,CA, probably one of the furthest locations we have traveled to thus far. When we met the bride, she exactly knew what she wanted and we were delighted to deliver her dream. Blush pink and champagne golds are one of our favorite combination to play with and we were so excited to do that once again. We used fall satin champagne chair covers and corporate knotted the blush pink sashes to fill the room with perfection. The tabletop complemented the centerpieces with blush pink linens, dull gold manzanita trees and vintage lanterns. When the bride walked into the room, our hearts were full by her reaction to the decor. She loved it so much and was so happy to see her vision come to life. That is the best part of putting in tiring hours into decor for a bride and groom. Congratulations to the beautiful couple and we can't wait to deliver exceptional decor for you upcoming wedding celebration in 2017.
"Empowered Women, Empower Women" It was an honor being part of such an exceptional charity event this past weekend. The founder of Women Step Up, Nila, approached us to setup a booth at the event and turns out she was an aunt of one of our really good friends, we grew up with. Can we just say, what a small world! From the beginning, we were so inspired after speaking with Nila, she is an independent woman, who is now set out to help other women out there reach their dreams. The event consisted of many other successful women entrepreneurs, which was inspiring within itself, to see how far we have come as women. We got a chance to hear so many empowering stories from some amazing guest speakers, there was plenty of wine and food to toast to women's success overall. It was a pleasure to interact with over two hundred guests and be able to serve their future events. We have been a part of a few vendor events and this was by far of the most motivating one. Women Step Up will be hosting another event in Summer of 2017, contact us or at the link above to participate or become a sponsor. To see more photos from Dare to Dream 2016, click here.
We love seeing other ethnicities celebrate different cultures. Indian weddings are probably the most elaborate affair anyone has come across. The celebration of traditions, colors, mehndi(henna), family and more makes any royal affair hard to miss. Our lovely maid of honor, Ashika hosted an amazing Mehndi night themed bridal shower for her lovely bride and friend, Molly. We played with a lot of colors for her backdrop, the entire room was filled with beaded elephants, vintage lanterns, bandini colors, Bollywood music and Indian delicacies. All bridesmaids and mother of the bride, wore colorful Sari's and enjoyed being wrapped with beautiful intricate mehndi on their palms. Congratulations Molly! We hope your wedding is as colorful and playful as your bridal shower. PS. We will be sharing images of these gorgeous ladies very soon. Cheers and Happy Wedding! xx
